Whether working with fluid paint or textured surfaces, I’m captivated by the contrast between serenity and disorder—the calm and chaos that often coexist within a neurodivergent mind, shaping how I see and express the world around me.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
I have spent most of my adult life working in tech and raising a family. Upon retirement I took up photography and had a successful show of my work in 2012. While wintering in California, I decided to take a painting class. My mother was a wonderful artist who worked in pastels, I opted for Acrylic. Over several winters, I worked on my skills to improve my art. I branched into Acrylic Fluid Art and have spent some time exploring other exciting methods.
At the start of the COVID pandemic my husband, Keith built me a she-shed in the back of the property. This would allow me to have a dedicated space to create and experiment . . . without getting paint all over the house . . .
Since my painting journey started, I have donated paintings for charitable causes and shipped my paintings to various cities across Canada.
